Simi's Story

For 15 years, I lived in plazas where even the windows didn't open; days when I went to work in the dark of morning and came home in the dark of evening.

Half of my life was spent rushing around without thinking, trying to make the impossible happen, and seeing my work as the purpose of life.

In 2015, my wife and I moved away from the metropolitan life and stepped into a quiet and modest life.
This change transformed not only the place we live in, but also my perspective on life.

Seeing how everything has become the same in the digital world has deeply affected me.
I wanted to remember and remind ourselves of the longing we feel for things that were made with care and effort.

And so Atelier Simi was born.

I produce in a calm and enjoyable manner, adhering to traditional production techniques, and I try to make everyone who picks it up feel this effort and care.
Each piece is not just an object; it is a concrete reflection of the awareness, patience and love in my life.
